The scientific name is Melanocorypha bimaculata and the Greek name is Stepoyialandra. Bimaculated Lark is a quit rare visitor to our island. It is a small sized bird which height reaches up to 16-17 cm. It has a wingspan of 33 - 41 cm. It is also found in semi-desert, stony tracts and fields. It feeds with insects and seeds.
